Meet Your Regional Content Requirements with Curtiss-Wright

Curtiss-Wright is an American company with global manufacturing, services, and support capabilities. Our design and manufacturing facilities located in the United States, Canada, and Europe, as well as sales and support experts around the globe, can help satisfy your regional requirements without sacrificing quality.

United States

Headquartered in Ashburn, Virginia, Curtiss-Wright operates design and manufacturing centers of excellence in seven states, with more than 500 employees, 185 engineers, and sales and support teams across the United States. Our strong U.S. presence enables us to support regional requirements, such as those associated with DoD restricted access and “U.S. Eyes Only” (USEO) programs, as well as deliver technical support limited to U.S. persons.

Our U.S. facilities specialize in the development of rugged solutions for today’s most challenging defense, aerospace, and industrial applications:

  • COTS modules and systems for computing, networking, and secure data storage
  • Tactical Data Link (TDL) network solutions
  • Data acquisition systems

As well, our facility in Santa Clarita, California specializes in hardware-level system integration and advanced package design built on decades of innovation and experience. We provide engineering and project management services that lower program risk and ensure your highly engineered systems get to market on time and on budget. Similar services are available from our Letchworth, United Kingdom facility for the ultimate flexibility to meet regional requirements.

From product design to program management and life cycle services, our U.S. facilities have all the necessary technical and managerial resources required to design, build, test, deliver, and support defense programs for U.S. defense and aerospace requirements.

Canada

Our field-proven embedded computing modules and systems can be produced at our facilities in the United States or Canada, giving you the ultimate flexibility to meet requirements for Canadian or non-ITAR content. For Canadian programs, Curtiss-Wright’s ability to design, develop, and manufacture technology on Canadian soil supports the Government of Canada’s Industrial Technological Benefits and Value Proposition (ITB/VP) Program.

United Kingdom

Curtiss-Wright’s facility in Letchworth, United Kingdom specializes in the design and development of mission displays, video recorders, and integrated video management solutions.

This facility also specializes in Packaged COTS, or PCOTS, system integration services to integrate COTS modules into existing or customized rugged enclosures with tailored features and connectivity – all qualified to customer-specified environmental requirements and done under the auspices of an AS9100-D organization. As well as Curtiss-Wright COTS products, PCOTS systems can include third-party or customer-furnished modules and, if functionality isn’t available off the shelf, it can be designed during system development.

Switzerland

Curtiss-Wright’s facility in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, Switzerland has developed and manufactured leading electromechanical drive systems for the industrial and defense industries for more than 70 years. We combine our deep experience and expertise to provide both industries with a comprehensive portfolio of motion control and stability systems, as well a full suite of cost-effective engineering, program management, and support services.
